Lassen Canyon Nursery grows strawberry plants for both the commercial grower and the home gardener. We have been in business for nearly 50 years. Our company is committed to growing the finest quality strawberry plants in the world. Lassen Canyon Nursery does not stop there, however. We at LCN strive to go the extra mile for our customers which means we not only provide top notch plant stock, but we provide the finest customer service in the industry. We are ready and able to assist the grower with many acres of commercial strawberries, while at the same time we can give advise to the backyard gardener who just needs a few plants to fill in that bare spot in the yard.

We have five different growing areas to meet our customers’ diverse growing needs. Over ninety percent of the plants we grow are in the State of California Certification Program. All our plant stock is initially produced from meristem cells. The plants are then grown in insect and disease free screenhouses at our main facility in Redding. The progeny of these plants are tested to insure they are free of nematodes and disease. Then they are planted in our foundation beds in Shastina, California. All varieties are grown in fumigated soil. Our plants are trimmed, packed, and shipped with the highest quality standards.
